BST In The Community

BST is committed to giving back to the community and is recognized as an industry leader in charitable contributions and corporate support.

The Firm is very active in our support and sponsorship of many local events including dinners and galas, charity walks, youth sports, college athletics, arts and entertainment, and numerous civic and business functions. Through the activities of our Human Resources department, we have recently initiated various community service events with Ronald McDonald House and Habitat for Humanity.  The Firm is an active participant in the American Diabetes Association's annual Tour de Cure, and the American Cancer Society's Making Strides against Breast Cancer Walk.

The Firm is also an active member of all local Chambers of Commerce, and many of our partners are current or former board members of local not-for-profit and charitable organizations.

The BST Foundation

The BST Foundation was established in 2010 to more efficiently connect with those who would benefit most from BST's charitable endeavors, and allocate as many resources to them as possible.

For over 35 years, BST's partner group has made sizeable charitable contributions and donations to various organizations in the local community.  The Foundation will be a vehicle to streamline the process for future contributions and donations, and allow the Firm to funnel specific requests through one source.

BST has found special meaning in helping organizations involved with children, and has decades of experience serving the not-for-profit community.  Initially, the Foundation's primary function will be to facilitate BST's larger contributions to charitable and not-for-profit organizations, and other donations to the business community.  In the future, the Firm hopes to expand the use of funds through the Foundation to include funding for educational purposes, and possibly a BST Scholarship.
