12th Annual Intergenerational Estate Planning Conference
Thursday, October 27, 2016
8:00am – 12:30pm
Wolferts Roost Country Club
120 Van Rensselaer Blvd, Albany, NY 12204
BST will be offering 3.5 hours of Continuing Professional Education (“CPE”) to Certified Public Accounts who attend this conference. CPE forms will be available at the registration table.

With some of the largest proposed tax increases and reduction of exemptions on the table, proper estate planning has never been more important as we approach 2017.

At this year’s Intergenerational Estate Planning Conference, a panel of experts will be examining successful estate planning strategies and options which are available today, but due to new proposed IRS regulations will lose their effectiveness early in 2017.

The panel will focus on an enlightening case study of Charlotte Novak, widow of Alexander Novak, her three children and grandchildren.

The Novak family owns a successful winery in the Hudson Valley, which was founded by Alexander Novak who passed away in 2011, leaving everything, including the family business, to his wife through his basic will.

Following the case study, BST Tax Partners, Jim Cole and Judy Cahee will present their expertise on the tax implications of Estate Planning including, trust taxation, S corporation considerations, and partnership planning opportunities.

Space is filling up quickly, register today!
